At UWC Thailand, learning is academically rigorous, purposeful, and supported by strong student wellbeing. As a not-for-profit, CIS-accredited IB Continuum school, we offer a complete IB education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 — the only school south of Bangkok to do so. Students grow through strong academics, social-emotional learning, and a culture shaped by our motto: Good Heart, Balanced Mind, Healthy Body.
A Seamless IB Journey From Kindergarten to Diploma
UWC Thailand provides a smooth progression through the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes, with each stage building confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.
Primary Years Programme (PYP)

Curiosity drives the early years, with strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning.
Children explore:
• Art and music
• Thai culture
• Physical education
• Mindfulness and emotional awareness
The culmination of the PYP is the Grade 5 Exhibition, which gives students their first experience of leading their own project linked to real-world issues.
Middle Years Programme (MYP)

MYP students strengthen academic skills across eight subject groups while developing:
• Research and inquiry
• Communication and collaboration
• Organisation and self-management
Service as Action is central, helping students apply learning to the needs of their community.
Diploma Programme (DP)

Academic challenge reaches its peak in the DP. Students study six subjects alongside the DP Core — Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and CAS — building discipline, curiosity, and reflective thinking.
UWC Thailand also offers DP Chinese A for native Chinese speakers.
University Pathways and Scholarship Opportunities

Graduates progress to leading universities around the world, and both day and boarding students have access to the Davis UWC Scholars Program — the world’s largest international undergraduate scholarship initiative, offering need-based support at nearly 100 universities in the United States.
Our students have continued on to Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, Edinburgh, NYU, the University of Chicago, NUS, HKU, Monash and more, reflecting both academic strength and the global reputation of a UWC education.
Learning Beyond the Classroom

Our location beside Khao Phra Thaeo National Park allows learning to extend beyond the classroom.
Through our Outdoor Education Centre and Outdoor Experiential Education, our students experience:
• Kayaking, hiking, sailing, diving
• Conservation and environmental projects
• Multi-day expeditions that build leadership and independence
Physical education and sports are part of daily life, with students taking part in a wide range of individual and team sports and competing in events both locally and internationally.
Community Engagement is another defining element of the UWC experience. Students work with local organisations in:
• Refugee education
• Marine conservation
• Social justice initiatives
• Community development
Students have planted more than 50,000 mangroves — a long-term symbol of their commitment to the environment. These experiences help students understand local and global issues while building agency, compassion, and purpose.
A Diverse and Supportive Community
With nearly 80 nationalities on campus, UWC Thailand is a vibrant, multicultural community where students learn to listen across cultures and value different perspectives.
Boarding, available for Grades 9 to 12, offers a structured, caring residential environment that balances independence with academic support.
Our campus includes purpose-built classrooms, two boarding houses, a Mindfulness Centre, science labs, arts studios, outdoor learning spaces, performing arts rooms, and various sports facilities.
Preparing Students for a Life of Purpose
A UWC Thailand education prepares students for academic success and for lives driven by purpose. As part of a global alumni community of over 85,000, our graduates leave with strong academic foundations, global awareness, emotional intelligence, and a clear sense of how they can contribute to the world.

Families are warmly invited to visit our campus, meet the community, and discover how UWC Thailand blends academic excellence with purpose, balance, and human-centred learning.
