Why Do We Create an Online Fair?
So why do we do this online? As schools look to seek more diversity in their community, we aspire to reach parents not only living in Thailand but also those moving to Thailand and allow them to hear directly from schools’ admissions departments, have informal, authentic discussions with Heads of Schools, and the ability to answer questions not answered on school websites. You can also provide parents with sneak peeks into each school with videos highlighting each campus; parents love videos where school kids tell them what they love most about their school. The bonus is parents can participate or watch the replay while relaxing at home with a cup of coffee!
Format For Our FREE to Join Event
We stream our school fair live on two different platforms; parents can join the live stream on Facebook or watch via YouTube. If families can’t join the event in person due to time zones or availability, don’t worry; everyone who signs up for the event will be sent the links to both days post-event to watch in their own time.
What Regions Do We Cover?
Our online schools fair brings together over 25 of the Top International Schools from across the region.
As we have sibling websites in Chiang Mai and Phuket, this gives us the opportunity to give parents a wider choice, from the bustling metropolis of Bangkok, to the eastern seaboard, a few hours outside the city, the mountains of Chiang Mai, or pristine beaches in Phuket. We want to offer a one-stop shop for parents considering a move to Thailand or those looking at options to move elsewhere in the country.
Benefits of an Online Fair
Thanks to the globally connected village we all live in, the videos from our fair reach far and wide, and we often hear back from families who watched our fair in far-flung places like Fiji or Zambia and who then decided to approach the schools they “just had a good feeling about,” or that “it was great to include our kid’s grandparents in the process without them having to leave their home.” More often, we hear from parents who didn’t realise they had such a vast choice of international schools in Thailand.
Are you a School Interested in Joining this Event?
If you would like your school to participate in this event, please contact info@Bkkkids.com and your details will be passed to the appropriate person. We have attached below a small section of videos taken from our various fairs to give you an idea of the type of questions and discussions possible. The event is hosted annually in March across two consecutive days so that the parents can attend according to the region they are interested in.
Each school section is 20 minutes for the premium package, which includes a 15-minute live Q&A session and a 5-minute video. The standard package consists of a brief introduction to your school, followed by a 5-minute video.
