22 Activities for Kids & Families in Bangna, Bangkok

Bangna has definitely grown into a hotspot for families — here’s our list of 22 kid-friendly things to do in the area, from games and hobby facilities to rock climbing and horseback riding.

Indoors: 

1. Mega Bangna (all ages): Cinema, ice skating, bowling, eating, Molly Fantasy, IKEA Småland, lots of free play spaces around the mall and a video arcade

2. Central Plaza Bangna (all ages): Pororo Water Park, cinema, Fun Planet video arcade and games, in-house train ride as well as regular child friendly exhibitions on the ground floor

3. Jas Urban Srinakarin (under 12): Totem Kingdom play area, free outdoor play area, dinosaur rides, as well as great eating places, kids cooking and music classes, toy shops and hobby shops

4. Rock Domain Climbing Gym (over 5): Rock climbing for all ages excluding toddlers

5. Battlefield Bangkok (over 3): Located just past Udom Suk BTS, this is a premier games and hobby store where visitors are free to use any games available, plus there’s a coffee shop and snack bar

6. Batcat Toy Museum (all ages): Lots of superhero toys and games on display, with a shop; near Bang Kapi

7. Rabbito Café (all ages): Small café with rabbits that you can interact with. Serves food and drinks

8. Premier Place, Srinakarin (all ages): Lots of classes for children, including Sport Expert, Premier School of Music, The Kick Taekwondo Gym, Dance Space by Ant with ballet and dance classes, a Thai classical music school and more

9. Little Gym Bangna (under 12): Indoor gym facility and classes for all ages from 4 months to 12 years

10. Gymboree (under 5): Located in Central City Bangna. An international music and play centre for under 5s

11. Thana City Sports Club (all ages): Large sports facility that offers a Kids Club to members and non-members, as well as many sports activities

12. Paradise Park (all ages)Cinema, Molly Fantasy, Baby Sensory, cooking classes, drawing and music on the top floor

13. Seacon Square (all ages): Yoyo Land, a large indoor play area within the mall

14. Erawan Museum (all ages): Beautiful gardens, unique temple with three-headed elephant statue, shop and restaurant available

Outdoors:

15. Nong Bon Lake  (all ages): Sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, cycling and walking (40 baht per year membership required for water sports; bring ID to sign up)

16. Suan Luang Rama XI Park (all ages): Play areas for younger children, outdoor gym space, café, many botanical gardens, swan boat trips on the lake

17. Talad Rot Fai Night Market (Over 7): Lots of vintage cars, bikes and trucks set in a boutique style setting; runs Thursday to Sunday, 4-10pm

18. Bangna Navy Golf Course (over 8): Great local course, with driving range

19. Combat Zone 62 Paintball (over 8): Paintballing facility on Srinakarin for older children near Seacon Square

20. Taco Lake Cable Wake Park (over 8): Cable wake park for excellent water sports experiences; suitable for beginners to experts

21. Phoenix by KP (over 3): Horse riding school just past Mega Bangna

22. “PTT Green in the City” Park (all ages): Reforestation project with collection of forest seedlings in a natural habitat with wetlands, viewing deck and environmental learning centre
