Summer Fun for Kids – Water Parks

When the mercury rises and you need to drag the kids away from their various screens, why not beat the heat at one of Bangkok’s water parks or water sports venues. Bangkok has some great action packed water parks and wake board parks, there’s even a simulated surf pool where you can try your hand at surfing in the centre of the city! There are many water parks within easy reach of Bangkok city so unless you want to head further south to Hua Hin, check out our list of recommended places to spend the day having fun with the family.

Columbia Pictures Aquaverse

Located 20 minutes from Pattaya and 90 minutes from Bangkok, Columbia Pictures opened the first theme and waterpark in Thailand, “Columbia Pictures Aquaverse.” Offering rides and attractions, Aquaverse is a unique entertainment destination in Thailand for visitors from around the world featuring state-of-the-art rides and newly themed attractions.

Dream World Water Fun

Kids will love the water play area which has many rides, including Slider and Tunnel Fountain.

The park is divided into several zones, including Dream World Plaza, Dream Gardens, Fantasy Land and Adventure Land – each with specific groups of rides, attractions and activities.

Fantasia Lagoon : The Mall Shopping Center

With branches at The Mall Ngamwongwan, Bang Khae and Bang Kapi, Fantasia Lagoon provides hours of swimming, splashing and sliding fun. In addition to shallow pools and water playgrounds for the little ones, the park offers large slides, whirlpools and a lazy river. Fantasia Lagoon parks are situated on the top floor of the malls, featuring expansive city views from atop the tallest slides.

Flow House Bangkok

In central Sukhumvit, Flow House Bangkok is an easy escape from the city heat. Older kids will love the adrenaline rush they get from the FlowRider, a simulated wave surfing machine. Located near Suvarnabhumi Airport, the freshwater Taco Lake Cable Wake Park offers wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding and waterskiing, utilizing a four-cornered pulley system. It’s a fantastic place for beginner and expert riders to cool off from the heat.
