The Dove Programme at ELC International Schools

elc logo

At ELC International Schools Bangkok,
belonging is intentionally woven into everyday life. We believe every child is capable, curious, and full of potential. Our role is to understand what each child needs right now and shape the environment, relationships, and learning experiences so every child feels safe, seen, and able to flourish.

What is the Dove Programme?

The Dove Programme sits within our Student Services & Wellbeing (SSW) team.

It offers personalised, small-group learning in a joyful, Reggio-inspired environment designed for children who learn best with a little more structure, time, or specialised support. Dove provides an extra layer of responsive teaching so each child is understood, celebrated, and empowered to thrive. Dove is not a therapy centre or a separate school; it is a specialised programme woven into everyday school life, with one coordinated team of educators, therapists, and specialists creating personalised plans and daily targeted sessions that weave life skills into the day so every child experiences real belonging within the ELC community.

Grounded in Reggio, shaped by community

Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and ELC’s Community Promises, Dove reflects our belief that differences are not barriers but guides for how we personalise learning. Classrooms are nurturing, responsive spaces—intentionally designed to bring education, care, and wellbeing together—making every child’s growth visible over time.

How learning looks

A child’s week blends rich time with their class community and purposeful small-group sessions when helpful. The Student Services & Wellbeing team co-plans with class teachers to align goals, adapt environments, and weave support into the project work ELC is known for. When needed, we partner with families and allied professionals so children experience consistency and confidence across school and home. The aim is always the same: meaningful learning grounded in inquiry, connection, and confidence.

Why it matters

Our aim is clear: to create pathways where children flourish academically, socially, and emotionally, while feeling a true sense of belonging in the ELC community.

Partnership with parents & families

At ELC International Schools, we believe that education is a partnership. Families are at the heart of every child’s journey, and we work closely with parents to co-create a supportive learning experience that extends beyond the classroom.

By pioneering a new standard for inclusive education in Thailand, ELC continues to shape learning around each child’s strengths and needs, ensuring every student is empowered to grow with confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging.

We partner closely with families and allied professionals so children experience consistency and confidence across school and home.
