Come join our festival of fun! Curtain Up Studio’s friendly competition is open to all young people aged 5–18, whether they are taking drama classes or simply have a passion for performance. Taking place at Curtain Up Studios on Sunday 29th June 2025.
No formal training is required.
Just enthusiasm and a willingness to step into the spotlight!

The festival is a great way for them to build confidence, develop their performance skills, and get constructive feedback from experienced professionals.

Each performance is adjudicated by experienced professionals who offer individual written feedback, helping students track their progress, further develop their skills, and grow in confidence.
Celebrate achievement
All participants are recognised at a special awards ceremony and receive a certificate of participation.
Build essential skills
Entrants can strengthen their expressive abilities, including facial expression, tone, body language, and staging, which support the practical elements of school drama exams.
Perform in front of an audience
Each participant can invite up to 4 audience members — parents, friends, or peers — making it a memorable and encouraging experience.
Prizes for Top Performers
1st Place – A 1-hour private acting lesson with a UK-based industry professional and fully qualified teacher with 11+ years’ experience
2nd Place – A 1-week holiday performing arts camp (acting, singing, and dancing), culminating in a live play performance
3rd Place – A 1-day creative acting workshop
All entrants receive:
A certificate of recognition and Written feedback from professional judges.
