Chinese New Year of The Tiger Events for Kids in Bangkok

This year, Chinese New Year will arrive early on 1st February 2022 and marks the Chinese New Year of the Tiger a very auspicious year of power, especially in South East Asia. Also referred to as Lunar New Year or Spring festival celebrations will happen across the whole of Thailand and more so in Bangkok which officially has the largest population of Chinese outside of China.

Although this Chinese New Year may be unlike any other, maybe it’s the year to let innovation through creative arts and technology bring us all closer to one another. The more usual festivities will go ahead but in a much smaller scale with social distancing a key factory and masks compulsory. Due to the fluid nature of events this year we would highly recommend you check with the provider prior to attending and things may change at the last minute.

Once again our list of events look rather sparse compared to previous years due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19; but we have still managed to find a few events where you can take the kids to celebrate Chinese New Year in style but with social distancing and mask wearing a must!
