Located in Sukhumvit 33, Kopi-O is a serious board game establishment, stocking over 800 titles that appeal to everyone, including younger players ages 5 and up. Kids will enjoy games such as Spot it!, Rhino Hero, Chicken Cha Cha Cha, Loopin’ Louie, Pick-a-Pig, The Enchanted Tower, Catan Junior and Dixit, among many others. A Game Master is around to offer tips. The café serves snack-type foods, ice cream, coffee and other drinks, and a small variety of savory Thai dishes consisting of either rice or noodles. There is limited parking on the premises.
Housed in a two-story building in the Ruamrudee Village complex, this venue offers a cozy spot to enjoy a game or two, offering about 80 titles, including games for the younger set such as Gobblet Gobblers, Jungle Speed and Ghost Blitz; and family favourites like Forbidden Island and Ticket to Ride. The café is usually quiet on weekdays and they serve decent one-plate Thai dishes as well as snacks. Patient staff can you get started, explaining game rules as well as helping younger kids plan their moves. There is limited parking on the premises but the venue is not far from Ploenchit BTS station. Also, they are closed on Mondays.
