Basketball programs may enroll kids from as young as 5 years old and considering that ideally kids should get at least one hour of physical activity every day, learning basketball is an easy and fun way to allow them to incorporate sports into their daily schedules. Even if it’s just starting to learn to throw and catch a larger ball by the time they are age 3 and 4, it’s a gentle way to introduce them to basketball and have fun with the whole family.
