Since 2016, Steps has provided vocational training and support to young people who are neurodivergent, learn differently, or live with experiences that can make finding inclusive educational or employment opportunities difficult.
Steps runs two Training Centres. One is onsite at St. Andrews 107, where learners can benefit from a UK-accredited educational programme tailored to their specific needs and abilities. This programme is suited for learners from Year 7 to Year 13 and includes the Dual Learner pathway, which enables learners to attend academic classes as well as those offered at the vocational training centre. The second site is in Ekkamai, where trainees aged 16 and above gain work experience and access coursework individualised to their goals.

The Steps training programme builds employability skills, life skills, social and communication skills. Learners can access and gain qualifications including ASDAN and TPQI. All Steps trainees gain work experience through on-site cafes. Within St. Andrews 107, learners gain additional work experience through a rota and internships with school departments. Ekkamai trainees may work in the business service centre, internships within Steps, or internships with inclusive companies, which have included companies like El Mercado, Rembrandt Hotel, IHG Hotels and Resorts, and Danone Thailand.

Since the St. Andrews/Steps partnership was established, the programme has grown to see more than 20 students enrol and four graduates pursuing full-time work, further studies, or transitioning to the Ekkamai training centre for additional work experience. The Ekkamai training centre has served more than 100 families.
Steps recently celebrated a cohort of ten trainees completing TPQI certification, meaning they now hold Certificates of Professional Qualification, endorsed by the Royal Thai Government Cabinet and ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework committee.
