VERSO HACK is a guided hackathon where participants work with their peers to gain fundamental tech skills and entrepreneurial thinking skills, and meet other aspiring student entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts while using their creative problem-solving skills to solve a real-world challenge.
During the hackathon, students are given a challenge or business problem to work on and develop either a new solution or technology for that challenge within 2 days. This year the theme is on Emerging Technologies.
The event includes experiential workshops and activities where students learn about designing solutions, validating ideas, prototyping, and pitching – the same skills that the best entrepreneurs in the world have – and are mentored and coached by experts from the startup and tech community.
