More Great Places for Family Brunch in Bangkok

A while back, we featured five hotels in that serve delicious family-friendly Sunday brunch. To give you a bigger variety of places to choose from, here are seven more venues that offer a great weekend brunch experience for guests of all ages.

DeeLite at DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit

Just a five-minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station you’ll find DeeLite’s Sunday brunch with a good selection of local and international dishes. While adults are relaxing and enjoying the signature Chocolate Cookie Martini, children can create their own crafts or learn how to make pizza and mocktails in the kid’s zone, all under staff supervision. Other highlights for young guests include face painting, glitter tattoos and a bouncing castle. All these activities come as part of the brunch, and kids under age five get to join the fun for free.

Cuisine Unplugged at the Pullman Bangkok King Power

A short walk from Phaya Thai BTS station, Cuisine Unplugged welcomes families to a fun Sunday brunch. While parents indulge in French oysters, Thai specialties and Chinese dishes, kids can have a blast in the children’s area. There, they can have their faces painted, race remote-controlled cars or watch clowns make balloon animals. And to top off the fun, everyone in the kids’ section gets free cotton candy! Children aged five and under get to enjoy all this at no charge; kids up eleven receive a 50% discount.

Twenty-Seven Bites Brasserie at Radisson BLU Plaza Bangkok

Come for the Big BLU Brunch, just a stone’s throw from Asoke BTS station, and tuck into dishes from around the world and a wonderful seafood buffet. Kids will enjoy the many live cooking stations where they can order their dish and watch it being prepared. There is also a miniature children’s buffet where they can serve themselves, just like the grown-ups. After their meal, kids can get face painting, watch the clowns’ antics and play video games. Kids five and under eat for free; those between six and 11 benefit from a 50% discount.

Gastro 1/6

With a lovely open-air garden setting at the RMA Institute on Sukhumvit 22, Gastro 1/6 caters to everyone in the family. Offering a non-buffet brunch, you can choose from a range of gourmet creations, whether you have a hankering for a full English breakfast, tortilla with Spanish ham, poached eggs with mushrooms and truffle oil and more. The kids’ menu is a bit simpler with offerings such as peanut butter and bananas on toast and french toast with fruits and honey. Service can get slow on weekends so come before or after the peak hours.

Brainwake Café

With a relaxed, family-friendly vibe, Brainwake in Sukhumvit 33 offers, as its name suggests, good and potent coffee and hearty fare, to awake the brain and nourish the body. There’s something for everyone from egg dishes to sandwiches and boat noodles (after 11am). The café also has a kid’s area stocked with books and toys to keep the little ones occupied.

The Gardens

Brunch at The Gardens is always a memorable affair, especially for the children. Choose an outdoor table, order your favourite a la carte brunch dishes and let the kids enjoy plenty of roaming space where they can visit with the resident swans, rabbits and peacocks. They can also feed the turtles and fish in the pond. The Gardens is conveniently located between Sukhumvit sois 59 and 61.

Bistro 33

Located in Sukhumvit Soi 33, Bistro 33 is a great choice for families. Sunday brunch, from 11.30am to 3pm, is a lively affair with a range of options in the buffet including pizza, an ample BBQ selection, roast turkey, ham, lamb, salads and cold cuts and more. The cost for adults is 1,200 baht plus VAT with a free flow of beer, wine or spirits (or 500 baht without alcohol). Kids under 12 eat for the bargain price of 250 baht, plus they get to try their hand at making pizza.

Little Pea Kids Commons

Located at the Play Yard (2nd floor) of The Commons, Little Pea caters exclusively to families. Drop in for a bite, choosing from a selection of healthy, kid-friendly options such as spinach quesadillas, veggie sticks and dip, egg frittata and chicken nuggets. Little diners are welcome to explore an awesome selection of picture books and hand-on activity stations such as a Lego brick bar and a colouring wall. There’s also a drop-in crafts room, with babysitting services, as well as ongoing classes and activities for kids.
