Nestled in the scenic hills surrounding Khao Yai, off Thanarat Road in Pak Chong district of Korat, Life Park has been revamped and rebranded as Scenical World, a huge theme park with three different zones: Life Park, Splash World and Midwest. Each offers visitors a different experience, from thrilling rides and water park fun to themed shopping and dining. Below is more information on each zone.
Life Park
This section includes over 20 types of adventurous rides and activities on more than 45 rai of land. Each ride is designed, installed and operated using the industry’s best safety standards. Highlights for the younger set include the old-time Gold Rush train, Bubble Bumper boats, Kiddie Town car driving course and Mix Extremes obstacles and climbing ropes. For older kids who are thrill seekers, there are Zorb balls that roll downhill, a Speedway racing circuit, and large pendulum and swing-type thrill rides.
Splash World
With more than 15 types of water rides, this waterpark offers something for every member of the family. From relaxed to wild, there is a whirlpool, gigantic wave pool, lazy river and many types of waterslides with crazy designs including high, curved, drop from the top, and intense tunnels!
Midwest
This outdoor retail and dining area features a California Gold Rush theme. The variety of activities includes shopping at brand-named stores, dining at international restaurants, and hanging out on a wine bar and café. This zone also houses adrenaline-inducing attractions such as X Max, a slingshot that hurls riders into the air at high speed; Space Shuttle, a high-flying spaceship ride; the dizzying Tea Cup and Jelly Fish rides; a double-decked carousel and more.
Scenical World is about a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok. The array of offerings can be overwhelming. Visitors also have the option to stay overnight; Botanica and The Greenery hotels are part of the same complex.
