Taco Lake was developed by Mr Chareon Kanjanapanyakom in the mid 1980’s when water sports were new to Thailand. Located about 1 hour from the city centre, the freshwater pond (beung) is complete with lotus flowers and tropical vegetation and offers wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding and waterskiing for both novice and expert riders. Boats have been replaced with a full circuit cable system that runs the span of the lake and enables up to 8 riders at once. There are a series of ramps and 5 obstacles, and renowned 90 degree turns that create exhilarating whiplash. The cable system is perfect for young riders as it enables them to get back up, in a safe and efficient way. Suitable for pre-teens through to adults, the entry price includes kneeboards, life jackets and helmets. There is high-end equipment available for rent, or riders can bring their own. The park has plenty of seating around the lake, a full sized restaurant with quality Thai food and a small hotel with room rentals.
