Located on the outskirts on Bangkok, Siam Amazing Park (or “Suan Siam” as it is commonly known in Thai) encompasses a water park and amusement park. Renowned for its rainbow-coloured water slides, manmade beach and sprawling wave pool (holding the Guinness World Record as the largest wave pool in the world), the park has been in operation since 1980, providing city residents with an inland “ocean” to counter the heat. The amusement park is sectioned into zones, including Fantasy World, X-Zone, Family World and Small World – each with a variety of rides and attractions catering to different age groups and levels of thrill seekers.

While some of Siam Park City’s facilities are in need of upgrading, the park provides the setting for a fun day trip for the entire family. In addition to the roller coasters, highlights of the amusement park include a two-storied carousel, Log Flume, and Jurassic Adventure and Africa Adventure rides. Specifically for children under 130 centimetres tall, Small World features a smaller carousel and mini motorcycle, boat and astro-fighter rides. For a more relaxing experience, take a dip in the wave pool or float in the artificial river of the water park. The high speed and spiral slides have a height requirement of 130 centimetres, but there is a smaller slide for younger children.
