Opened in 1992, this park, part of a 3-park complex in the area, marks Her Majesty the Queen’s 50th Birthday anniversary. The 137-rai (0.2 square kilometres) park resembles a small forest, delighting visitors with its huge, well-manicured landscape. A variety of gardens boast extensive plant collections, including the Lotus and Water Lily Yard, Banana Tree Garden, and Hibiscus Yard, among others. Also, an auspicious tree garden features trees from all the provinces planted in the shape of Thailand’s geographical map.
Queen Sirikit Park is a beautiful natural space for kids to explore, while learning more about a large variety of plant species. Children will also enjoy feeding the fish in the pond (bring your own bread). Also, the Children’s Discovery Museum is situated near the park’s entrance off Kampaengphet 4 Road, providing a great place to play before or after visiting the park.
