Opened in 2009, Fantasia Lagoon is a relatively large and well-kept water park with two branches: on the rooftop levels of The Mall Bang Kae and The Mall Bangkapi, shopping centres outside of central Bangkok. The parks are sectioned into various themed zones, offering several varieties of water slides, large pools, a lazy river, and play areas fitted with a pirate ship, waterfalls and whirlpools. One highlight includes the sweeping city views visible from atop the larger slides. Fantasia Lagoon caters to toddlers and older children alike, providing a wonderful space to splash and play. Pools are quite shallow; children over 90 centimetres tall will be able to stand in the water. There are some height and age restrictions on the larger slides, and smaller slides are available for the younger set. At The Mall Bang Kae, an indoor amusement park on the floor below provides many rides and activities in a fun (and air conditioned) space designed to resemble a cartoon town. Update: There is also a third branch of Fantasia Lagoon on the 6th floor rooftop of The Mall Ngam Wong Wan in Nonthaburi.
