Red Knight Chess Club NIST Chess Championship

HERE WE GO!

One of our biggest inter-school competitions, the 3rd NIST Chess Championship, is coming up on May 10, 2026. This year, in addition to the usual age groups, we are also introducing a FIDE Rated category.

As many of you who joined in the past two years may remember, 250 players from more than 50 schools participated. This year we expect students not only from Thailand, but also from several countries across the region.

We will accept 250 players, and the Early Bird Registration Fee ends on April 3.

Categories:
U7, U8, U9, U10, U12, U14, U18, and a FIDE Rated category

Awards in each category:
Champion
1st Runner-up
2nd Runner-up
3rd Runner-up
4th Runner-up

All participants will receive e-certificates of participation.

Schools with at least 5 players across all categories will be eligible for the Team Trophy, with awards for the Top 3 schools.
