Nurturing Young Minds at Kids Kingdom

Established in 2011, Kids Kingdom offers a nurturing and creative environment for children ages 18 months to 6 years. We opened our second branch in 2017, ‘Kids Kingdom Ruamrudee’ and we have a sister school ‘Bright Seeds’ in Chiang Mai as well. Both our campuses are situated in prime residential areas of Bangkok that are surrounded by greenery and exude a sense of peacefulness and security. Our friendly and stimulating campuses are equipped with up-to-date facilities and resources. We are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education with our experienced teachers who undergo regular teacher training and professional development. As a close-knit community, our students and their families are from over 40 different nationalities.

Early Learning Visions

  • OUR MISSION is to provide students with a nurturing and balanced education of an international character delivered predominantly in English.
  • OUR VISION is to become the building block of each child’s future. This is is reflected in our aspiration to nurture each child’s development, interactions, competence, and language development through a rich, intentionally planned curriculum. This will promote a sense of self-worth, accomplishment, confidence, and independence in each child.
  • WHAT INSPIRES US? We encourage individuals to embrace challenges and take accountability for shaping a better world. This is achieved through our curriculum, which uses innovative teaching methods by our committed staff. We keep our students at the heart of everything we do; our teaching is tailored to accommodate individual learning needs and styles. We focus on encouraging our little learners to flourish and reach their full potential.

  • IPC CURRICULUM: Kids Kingdom embraces the IPC curriculum – a researched syllabus with a mixture of outcome, objective, play, and inquiry-based learning approaches. Designed by experts, the curriculum is further peer-reviewed by an advisory committee to establish educational relevance and rigor. To ensure that the curriculum covers the developmental domains, there are seven core content learning areas which include numeracy, language arts, social and emotional skills, social sciences, creative and visual arts, technology and science, and physical development and motor skills.
  • WHY THE PLAY-BASED LEARNING APPROACH? “Play is how children begin to understand and process their world… Children’s play unlocks their creativity and imagination and develops reading, thinking, problem-solving, and motor skills. It provides the base foundation for learning,” says Angie Rupan, Program Coordinator for Child Development Center in South San Francisco. Our philosophy is based on learning through play. At Kids Kingdom, play is essential to understanding, as we believe it is the foundation of all knowledge. Through play, children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.

The Different Kinds of Play at Kids Kingdom

Dramatic / Role Play is where children play by dressing up in costumes, assuming roles as different characters, and creating imaginary settings.

Manipulative Play is where children can enjoy puzzles, block building, beading, lacing, etc., to enhance their fine motor skills.

Physical Play is physical activities with bikes, balls, jump ropes, hoops, sand play, etc. Teachers focus on
improving coordination, control, manipulation, and movement skills.

Creative Play which includes painting, coloring, cutting, gluing, scribbling, etc., using various art tools.
Arts & Crafts activities help boost a child’s self-esteem and self-regulation and build on a child’s fine motor coordination.

Sensory Play is essential for young children, giving them endless ways to develop and learn. Children can use all their senses to discover and explore their environment while their imagination and creative thinking flourish and promote the ability to problem solve and experiment with solutions. All of the above encompasses our aim to foster the 3Qs Intelligent Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Creative Quotient (CQ).
