Millions of visitors have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds since they first opened over 200 years ago and it remains as popular today as it ever was. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but at the heart of it all is good, old-fashioned curiosity. Visitors get the unique opportunity to take an emotionally charged journey through the realms of the powerful and famous. Unleash their true feelings about the personalities they love and loathe, get up close and personal with the world’s most talked about people and relive the times, events and moments that made the world talk about them. Pose for the paparazzi and get ready to mingle with the A-list on the red carpet. Hollywood favourites such as Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman are there as well as Asian stars Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh. Dress up with Beyonce, sing with Madonna and relive the magic of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean video. Visitors can also get face to face with some of the world’s most well known leaders and learn more about their constitutions and monarchies. Watch a video of Nobel Peace Prize winners before meeting their wax doubles or follow the running track and challenge legends from the world of football, golf, boxing, basketball, tennis and weight lifting. Madame Tussauds TV studios are complete with cameras and big screens, so visitors can feel what it is like to be a star on TV as you step into the Oprah Winfrey show or join Anne Thongprasom at work. The Museum is absolutely worth a visit with children and a great way to spend some free time in the city center.
