Located in the heart of Siam Square, LINE Village Bangkok is a small theme park dedicated to the ubiquitous LINE FRIENDS characters, Brown the bear and Cony the rabbit, plus their diverse group of pals: Sally, Choco, Moon, James, Boss, Edward, Jessica and Leonard. There are numerous rooms and zones to explore, including interactive digital play features and games, virtual reality experiences, and plenty of settings where you can take photos with life-sized figures of the characters. This village is essentially a huge marketing showcase for LINE, the mobile application; there is an adjacent store selling all kinds of merchandise, from clothing and bags to housewares. Cuteness abounds!

The entire theme park takes about 30 to 40 minutes to explore with children. It’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea as you’ll encounter lots of tourists taking photos with the characters and props. There are some fun play features such as the virtual reality roller coaster ride and character experience as well as a digital game where you slice up ingredients, make and decorate cookies, wash dishes, etc. Basically, if you’re not familiar with or into the LINE FRIENDS, this would not be a very interesting destination.
