Each week, children will learn through a variety of activities under the Nature Explorer theme, such as:
Week1: Elements of Nature
Children will explore the elements of nature through outdoor games, nature walks, art and craft activities, and sensory activities.
Week2: Plants in Nature
Children will learn about the importance of plants, plant life cycles, what plants need to grow, and how plants can help. Spend time outside the classroom planting seeds, watering plants, and engaging in classroom activities such as role-playing, creative work, and art."
Week3: Animals in Nature
Children will learn about animals in nature, classify animals such as arboreal and non-arboreal animals, explore specimens, and learn new vocabulary, and participate in STEM activities and art projects."
Week4: Habitats in Nature
Children will learn and compare different habitats in nature through outdoor and in-class learning activities such as exploring nature, searching for objects, playing drama, art, and crafts."
