Win a Pack of Bomba Reusable Bamboo Straws!

Founded by two woman and their local Karen Hilltribe partners in Northern Thailand, Bomba Bamboo Straws aims to reduce the use of single-use plastic straws. The re-usable (and 100% organic) bamboo straws are harvested in the jungles of Northern Thailand and processed in Chiang Mai. The bamboo used is older than three  years, and the harvesting only occurs for half of the year (to remain sustainable); this ensures the bamboo is at its strongest, and the best size for straw purposes.

Also, by harvesting wild bamboo, Bomba Bamboo Straws reduces the risk of wild fires in the jungles because this thins out the undergrowth. In addition to the environmental benefits, the venture provides local hilltribe communities with an additional source of income.

The bamboo straws are re-usable, biodegradable, hand crafted, and sourced locally – there are no downsides, really. Make the switch to sustainable straws and buy bamboo! The straws can be made to order and shipped anywhere in the world. For more info or to place an order, please visit Bomba Bamboo Straws on Facebook.

To commemorate Earth Day on April 22, 2018, BKK Kids will be giving away a pack of five straws to 4 randomly chosen winners (1 pack per winner)! Simply enter your details below for a chance to win – good luck!
