With the Songkran school holidays just around the corner, and summer not far on the horizon, too, many parents will be keen to find fun and rewarding activities for their children during the April school holidays. A sport and activity Songkran camp is a great choice.
This year at the time of writing Songkran will be celebrated but scaled down due the the affects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thailand is still practicing social distancing and mask wearing, which might prove to be difficult considering Songkran is all about splashing and water fun!
Rules for Songkran this year:
Refrain from splashing water Do not hold a foam party Abstain from organizing activities with many people
Pouring water on Buddha images Pouring water on elders according to tradition Travel across all provinces

Our English speaking environment includes challenging in-class activities and projects, and exciting outside sports, adventures and team building; plus all the thrills and beauty of the forest in the world-famous Khao Yai National Park.
Our camp is designed for children to learn and improve their English language skills, while at the same time having fun with different activities.
Learning about the environment will be the concept of the camp. The students will learn how plastics are made, the benefits and disadvantages of them, and find out about alternative materials and examples of clean energy.
Along with making a photo collage poster, the students will design an environmentally-friendly product for their class project presentation. Examples of these might include a vehicle, house, school, city or fashion accessory. Therefore by the end of the camp, they will have learned about how to protect the environment and demonstrate how they can complete a project in an environmentally-friendly way. There are some amazing stories of children who have created ways to clean up polluted areas, which can serve as inspiration to our students.
They can also invent something to clean the planet or keep the planet green, along with considering these key environmental questions: Why are we concerned about animals which are disappearing ? Where does plastic trash go? The students will be able to learn that little things make a big difference!

‘Skills for Life’ – Teenage Leadership and Personal Development Residential
The residential is not JUST an activity week, it is a week of fun, reflection, learning, leadership, teamwork, escape from the plugged in world, an opportunity to embrace and connect with nature and to simply get out of Bangkok. Our programme has been developed by Troy Wells, ex-Head of Mathematics (10 years, Harrow International School, Beijing), EFR Instructor, Chief SUP Instructor and Director of SUP Hire (Thailand).
