Bangkok’s First Learning Resources Community Fair: 1 June 2019

BKK Kids and SENIA Thailand have teamed up to host the very first Learning Resources Community Fair in Bangkok! Held at St Andrews International School Bangkok, High School Campus on Sukhumvit Road (BTS: Ekamai), the fair takes place on Saturday, 1 June 2019, from 9am to 1pm. Admission is free (Please register at https://bit.ly/2J4AcAU.).

So often we hear from both parents and teachers/therapists that they don’t get the information they need to help kids with learning challenges, as the two sides never have the opportunity to meet. We want to change that! This day is for anyone seeking to learn more about the range of learning support resources for children in Bangkok, provided by around 20 school learning support departments, education specialists, therapy providers, counsellors, parent support groups, learning centres and more. There are many pathways to education — and it’s a matter of finding the best fit for each family.

The event will also feature a panel discussion on ways to support young people at home as well as lots of activities for kids, including therapy ponies from Spark Centre Thailand, a teens’ activity by LEAP Bangkok, and activities for younger children by BAMBI, in conjunction with Thanksgiving Home. There will be refreshments and healthy snacks from Steps with Theera, too.

For more information, please contact [email protected].
