Looking for something a little different for your kids this summer? Tara Pattana International School is offering a unique multi-sports and activity summer camp, featuring something for everyone. Here, kids from 6 to 18 years can learn from international sports stars and special guest speakers, as well as engage in a range of activities. Located in Pattaya, Chonburi, the school aims to develop kids’ self confidence, leadership and communication skills – all while promoting physical activity, good sportsmanship, and a fun experience.
At the camp, children will be exposed to a range of sports, blending team building games and activities. Kids can choose their favourite sport program, which will be run by former international sports stars and coaches. For example, football enthusiasts will benefit from instruction by guest coach Terry Butcher, a former international footballer who has played for and captained England and led them to a World Cup Semi Final. Also, former English Premier League player and coach Allan Smart, regarded as one of the best youth coaches, will present invaluable training tips and insight.
Swimmers will be coached by James Goddard, a former 3-time Olympic swimming finalist who has won medals at just about every level. James will oversee the swimming program, which is suitable for all levels, from elite swimmers to non-swimmers who want to get water safe. Sports presenter Rachel Downie will serve as another guest mentor, among others, who will share her experience and skills.
For a more varied experience, the camp will also provide robotics, arts and crafts, cooking, journalism and public speaking, as well as weekly excursions to a nearby beach, theme park, mini golf course and more. Tara Pattana also offers a full EAL program and fun science and English workshops where children will be inspired to challenge themselves.
The camp staff is passionate about children leading a healthy lifestyle through sport and activities, and they include fully trained teachers, childcare professionals and highly qualified sports and activity staff. In order to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing, the camp exceeds the standards set by Ofsted, a regulatory agency for standards in education and children’s services, in the UK.
Tara Pattana International School Summer Camp runs from 11 July to 6 August; children may join for one or multiple weeks. For more information, please email [email protected] or visit www.tpis.ac.th/summer-camp.
