Festive Family Events (and Where to Meet Santa) in Bangkok, 2018

Below is a list of festive events taking place this December, listed chronologically, where Santa will also be making an appearance to meet and greet with kids and take photos.

1. Christmas Dance Extravaganza inspired by NYC’s Radio City Show by Footloose & Co

Students & professional dancers take to the stage to dazzle the audience, inspired by New York’s famous dance troupe, The Rockettes and their Radio City Christmas Spectacular. A portion of the profits from the show will go the Rajvithi Home for Girls, whose kids will also perform. Santa Bill will also be there to greet and take photos with everyone.

When: Fri, 7 Dec, 6pm-8.15pm (doors open at 5pm)
Price: 750 baht per adult, 650 baht per child (up to 12), children under 2 free (if sitting on laps); ticket prices will also include a small gift for everyone, a chance for photos with Santa Bill

2. Raintree International School Christmas Fair

Partake in a magical Christmas afternoon for the family, with seasonal entertainment for children including pony rides, Christmas activities and a festive raffle. Santa awaits in a Winter Wonderland Sensory Dome.

3. BAMBI & IPC Family Christmas Party

Join BAMBI in celebrating the spirit of Christmas at their annual Family Christmas Party and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Lots of fun activities, including decorating a gingerbread house, performances, and Santa!

Where: IPC International Kindergarten, 313 Soi Sawatdi/Sukhumvit 31, Bangkok
When: Sat, 8 Dec, 5pm-7pm (tree lighting at 6pm)
Price: Free admission for BAMBI and IPC families; 300 baht donation for non-members

4. The Londoner Brew Pub’s Kid’s Christmas Party 2018

The Londoner Brew Pub is throwing a Christmas party weekend, including a kids’ party. Come for the Christmas decorations, glitter tattoos, DIY Christmas ornaments, and DIY Christmas trees. There will also be a very special visit from Santa Claus himself. For parents, enjoy the Big Ben Sunday Roast and Bloody Mary Bar.

5. Meet & Greet with Santa Bill at Little Footsteps

It’s that magical month of the year! Come join a festive morning filled with fun games and songs, and celebrate with Santa Bill!

Where: 8 Srinagarindra Soi 62, Prawet, Bangkok
When: Thurs, 20 Dec, 12pm-1pm
Price: 800 baht per child; 500 baht for kids in Little Footsteps’ winter camp

6. K Village Christmas Market 2018

This year is set to be K Village’s biggest festive market, with indoor and outdoor spaces, under the theme ‘Fun with Family and Friends. Enjoy food booths and food trucks, shopping, games, workshops and more. There will also be Christmas carols, a street show, a special appearance from Santa Claus, and live evening performances (from 7.30pm) by Mean Band, Ink Waruntorn, Attention Please Band, Rhythm Nation Band and Mr. T and the Happy Meal Band with Tee The Voice.

7. The Family Christmas Party with Nameebooks

Take part in a variety of xmas activities such as a Secret Santa, gift exchanging, Christmas songs and more. Come dressed in the “Christmas Party” theme, and join the fun!
