Family Friendly Halloween Events in Bangkok

Halloween is all about dressing up, trick or treating games, and, of course, treats! All of these factors make Halloween in Bangkok, one of the year’s most popular celebrations.

You can still safely celebrate the ghoulish season, but trick-or-treating and other celebrations may have to be modified to protect against coronavirus infection. It’s important that children be allowed to enjoy spooky festivities this year because “holidays like Halloween mean a lot to kids.”

It’s been a hard year for kids, they lost time with friends and teachers at school, their summer vacations and their everyday routines to the coronavirus. With the arrival of fall and moving into the season of the celebrations they love the most, let’s not make them give up Halloween. Let’s face it – w’eve all acted like monsters during lockdown, both kids and adults alike so now is the opportunity to bring out that inner beast, paint faces, put on costumes and help them safely celebrate!

We’ve created a special guide for where to go for some spooky (and not so spooky) fun in Bangkok this year!

Do you know of, or are hosting, a Halloween event? Tell us about it here so we can add it to our guide.

IPC International Kindergarten

Only one word can sum up the experience of the IPC Annual Halloween party, AMAZING!!!!  IPC really pulls out all the stops and transforms every corner of the entire school campus into what is no less than the event of the year.  What started with relatively humble beginnings turned into an all out Halloween experience for the whole family.  You start the night walking a pre-determined route through the school where each room is a differently themed Trick-or-treating stop for the kiddos.  Upon exiting the trick-or-treating, you will find yourself walking into a (playground sized) DJ booth and dance floor where even the parents will enjoy the beats coming from the sound system.  From there you still get to make your way through the Carnival section before finally ending by ending your journey at the food vendors, food trucks, and drink stands.  If you only make one event a year, this should be it. Open to the public.  Ticket price is 300 baht.
