The Apple Tree International Kindergarten, the newest pre-school in the central business district in Bangkok, caters to children from 18 months up to 5 years of age. Whilst closely following the British EYFS curriculum, the school aims to expose the children to a range of learning experiences through a much wider curriculum of activities such as gardening, yoga, mindfulness and cooking, to name a few, and to ensure that the children’s personal, social, emotional and academic needs are holistically met.
The Head of School and the Board of Directors are united in their belief that there should be no compromises when it comes to serving children’s educational and welfare needs, and believe that what their school offers is unrivalled. Administrators have worked tirelessly to recruit a talented team of outstanding and creative teachers and support staff to bring the school’s vision into fruition. The Apple Tree teachers bring learning to life by igniting the children’s curiosities and developing unique opportunities for progress through the children’s own passions and interests.
The Apple Tree’s modern and uniquely designed ‘green’ school was designed on 1 rai of land in close consultation with educational experts. The children are visible from every area of the campus and the design has enabled over 50% of the campus to be outdoors, which allows the children to have hands-on, authentic opportunities to make sense of the world around them. The children also benefit from direct access to outside learning environments from both the front and the back of their classrooms as well as farming areas, mud kitchens, musical sensory trees and a large outdoor water play area, complete with a built-in sprinkler system.
All the playground and classroom equipment and resources within the school have been sourced from internationally reputable companies that comply with international safety standards. Furthermore, all staff at the school, from the security guards to the maids and the Board of Directors have received full safeguarding training, as well as completed international certification in paediatric CPR and first aid to ensure the ultimate safety of the children under the school’s care.
Fostering a warm and encouraging environment where children can grow and thrive while exploring the world around them, The Apple Tree is currently accepting enrolments for 2019-20, for children aged 18 months – 5+ years old! The school fully encourages parents to come and see them in action, to find out more about the care, learning and excellent facilities they can offer your child.
