Getting outdoors & keeping active
It is never too early (nor too late) to encourage kids to get outdoors and keep active! Physical activity is a vital component for good health, and opportunities for play and discovery are essential to a child’s development. Bangkok offers plenty of outdoor activities suitable for families. Spend the morning at one of many Parks & Playgrounds, encounter fascinating Animals, play all day at Amusement & Water Parks, or absorb the sights and sounds of bustling Markets.

Experiencing the culture
Having lived abroad or been exposed to an international school environment, your children are likely to be Third Culture Kids (TCKs), global citizens who grow up in a non-native, cross-cultural environment. Provide your kids with a broader understanding of their current hometown through Bangkok’s exquisite Temples & Palaces, history-rich Landmarks & Monuments, and Museums & Galleries.

Escaping the heat & making new friends
During the hot summer months, especially during the school holidays, no one understands your trials and tribulations like other families! It’s tough keeping the kids engaged and active – and out of Bangkok’s sweltering heat. Head indoors and make new friends through structured Playgroups, or let your kids expend some energy at one of the city’s many Indoor Play Centres. You could also check out Bangkok’s Cinemas, or bask in the tranquility of one of its Libraries.
