Bangkok Dance Academy
Established in 1990, this dance school offers beginning ballet classes at its Siam Paragon branch; more intermediate levels (Grades 4 and up) are held at the school’s Chidlom Tower branch, based on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curriculum.
Bangkok City Ballet
Located not far from the front of Sukhumvit 49 in CITI Resort, Bangkok City Ballet offers combined pre-primary and primary levels in a small class setting.
Cala Dance Studio
Housed in a small studio on the 8th floor of Emporium Tower, CALA offers creative movement classes for the youngest dancers (ages 3 to 5), with progressive ballet levels for older children.
Dance Centre Bangkok
Operating for 30 years, Dance Centre in Sukhumvit 31/2 features pre-primary to primary ballet classes for children, based on structured sessions. Young kids also get a basic understanding of ballet terminology and exercises. Classes are conducted in English and Thai, according to student needs.
Pornpimol-Sophatai Ballet School
Since 1963, Pornpimol-Sophatai Ballet School has been conducting ballet classes under the RAD curriculum. New classes can be arranged for groups of at least five children. Rising Star Dance Studio
Located in Thonglor at the 55 Plaza Building, Rising Star has vigorous pre-ballet and ballet (among many other dance styles) for students ages 3 and up. The school puts on a much-anticipated annual ballet production.
Rum Puree Dance Studio
This contemporary dance studio, with three central Bangkok locations, offers less structured ballet classes for children ages 5 to 7 years, focusing on posture, coordination and fun. Non-graded ballet class are held at the Amarin Plaza (Rajadamri) and Jasmine City (Sukhumvit 23) branches on the weekend.
